The best way I’ve found in Thunderbird to create the different signatures is with the addon called Quicktext. Creating Multiple Signatures for Thunderbird In my never ending quest to distance myself from the large monopolists like Microsoft, Thunderbird is actually very comparable if not better in some regards (look into Add-ons). Another caveat is that I have about a dozen different email addresses that sometimes have the same signature, sometimes not.Įmail client Microsoft Outlook has a great feature that lets you define a different signature for composing a new email, or a reply, but Mozilla Thunderbird doesn’t have this feature.
